I love being Brown Owl. Once a year we have a special teddy bear’s picnic evening, we all bring our favourite bear, eat sandwiches, play games and sing silly songs.

This year it’s my turn to bake the buns.

So, I made my standby recipe. Of course, I had no-one to lick the spoon,  as everyone is at school or work today and so the bowl  had to be scraped – and do you know the “lickings” made 2 extra buns – I never knew I was so generous!

The fun lies in the icing, these might not be your cup of tea, but they go down a storm with 7 year olds!
