On My Needles …

Most of my knitting time is spent on commissions at the moment (You’ll be seeing my work in forthcoming issues of Inside Crochet, Knit and Knit Now, how exciting is that?). But I have been able to cast on this pretty little vest for a little girl I know. In Shilasdair Luxury DK it’s a dream to knit. This version was free with issue 6¬† of Knit Now, but you can find the pattern in a lovely book by Louisa Harding, details¬† here. if you are a “Raveller” check out some of the finished projects for some yarn inspiration. It’s a great quick knit and practical too!

  2. Loving the pattern and the colour. Will look into it for my new (great) niece and nephews. Note brackets – too young to be a great aunt!

Beautiful British mohair - my Easter present to myself!! @kateheppell this is what I was ordering yesterday :) Same water - but tall people who can reach top shelf pay a penny less!! Made a tub to hold all my magazines by the bed - surprisingly roomy - & took less than 2 hours to #crochet from recycled t-shirt yarn The same #crochet motif over & over again - very theraputic!! Playing with some new shades of yarn! This is what happens when you put a batch of freshly baked millionnaire's shortbread in front of hungry teenagers!! By complete accident my latest design exactly matches newly painted bedroom! (Ps it's not knitted, it's Tunisian crochet & the pattern is in issue 52 of @insidecrochet on sale now) A day late - but Mothers Day card has arrived - & it's home made!! Time to unpack the garden crochet after winter hibernation! #crochet #handmade #garden
