On My Needles …

Most of my knitting time is spent on commissions at the moment (You’ll be seeing my work in forthcoming issues of Inside Crochet, Knit and Knit Now, how exciting is that?). But I have been able to cast on this pretty little vest for a little girl I know. In Shilasdair Luxury DK it’s a dream to knit. This version was free with issue 6¬† of Knit Now, but you can find the pattern in a lovely book by Louisa Harding, details¬† here. if you are a “Raveller” check out some of the finished projects for some yarn inspiration. It’s a great quick knit and practical too!

Love this photo of my bedroom set for #lovecrochet magazine, they always make my work look so stylish! Warm fire, cosy blanket & a bit of cheeky crochet. This is one of my favourite ways to spend the evening. (Photo of me by @andyaelli ) Bit of Herdwick love in the studio today, gluing purse frames to restock retailers. You can buy these from Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham or Gallery Artemis in Cockermouth. Proper Cumbrian Herdwick wool, crocheted, then boiled for added strength. #crochet #britishwool For Christmas I would like more little pots to put things in! Looking for an simple stashbusting project ? @edencottageyarns is running a "silsden stashbuster " crochet along, details over on her ravelry page. I designed this pattern with beginners in mind & the pattern can easily be adapted to make everything from cushion covers to king size blankets. Want to join in? There are prizes up for grabs too! #crochet #yarnlove Sunday morning "arty shot"! Thanks to @andyaelli for making my hands look pretty!! Delivered some of my boiled wool purses to Gallery Artemis in #Cockermouth today - my favourite sold already! This design originally appeared in @craftsellermagazine , just remaking it in glorious @edencottageyarns Whitfell dk as a housewarming gift for a lovely friend, pics will follow when it arrives at it's new home, then pattern pdf will be on Ravelry! A beautiful photo of my Clara Bolster, pattern available in "Crochet Projects for Little Ones", published by the brilliant @insidecrochet team, thanks guys xx
