New Pattern for Sale: Crochet Heart

Lavender heartThis simple crochet heart first appeared in Inside Crochet in 2012. Designed as a lavender sachet, I have modified it in many ways since then. Made in dk yarn it looks very sweet hung on a coat hanger. Make a single heart  in aran weight and stitch to a cushion or jumper for a quick, fun applique. I have put the pattern up for sale on Etsy today.

Also on Etsy you’ll find a pattern for a smaller heart key ring or brooch, which uses the same principle of simple increasing and decreasing. Over the years I’ve experimented with lots of different crochet hearts, but this remains my favourite. If you’d like a free copy of this pattern, like, share or leave a comment by midnight tonight and I’ll choose three people at random and email you a free copy first thing tomorrow.*

Beautiful British mohair - my Easter present to myself!! @kateheppell this is what I was ordering yesterday :) Same water - but tall people who can reach top shelf pay a penny less!! Made a tub to hold all my magazines by the bed - surprisingly roomy - & took less than 2 hours to #crochet from recycled t-shirt yarn The same #crochet motif over & over again - very theraputic!! Playing with some new shades of yarn! This is what happens when you put a batch of freshly baked millionnaire's shortbread in front of hungry teenagers!! By complete accident my latest design exactly matches newly painted bedroom! (Ps it's not knitted, it's Tunisian crochet & the pattern is in issue 52 of @insidecrochet on sale now) A day late - but Mothers Day card has arrived - & it's home made!! Time to unpack the garden crochet after winter hibernation! #crochet #handmade #garden
