Your Handmade Home

YOUR-HANDMADE-HOME_NO-7Issue 7 of Your Handmade Home has just gone on sale and once again I’m really impressed with the colourful and stylish projects inside. It was also a bit of a thrill to see the simple crochet coasters I designed for Dorling Kindersley are featured on the cover! It should be available in most news agents, but is also available to buy online (with free p&p) by clicking here

Keep an eye out for future issues, which will feature some projects I have designed exclusively for Your Handmade Home readers. Meanwhile, get hold of this issue, with tips on upcycling,  sweet kitchen accessories and great makes for kids it really is an inspiring read.

Will be putting some ready made items in my Etsy shop this week- ideal for Christmas gifts. These gorgeous hats come in newborn to teen. All available as custom order or "ready made". Hope to release the #crochet pattern soon too. #childrenswear #hats #handmade Today I shall mostly be sewing new curtains!! Love these little birds Photos just don't do this gorgeous yarn justice, if you're going to #yarndale make sure to stop by @edencottageyarns and have a squish of the Whitefell dk. I ♥this so much!! Another design from #crochet magazine, made using New Lanark 100% British wool. The first issue of #crochet (yes, it really is called "hashtag crochet") is now on sale.Full of designs by talented designers a few by me - including this stool cover, which first appeared in the DK book "Crochet". When you eat a lot of avocados it's hard to resist planting all the stones! Kitchen slowly turning into a jungle!!! #growyourown Sunday night knitting disaster! Knitpro cord snapped right off!! This is what happens when you try to knit on a cord that's too short - all because I was too lazy to get up from the sofa & get a longer needle!! And here's the knitted side (the other cushion is a "work in progress", using the gorgeous new Whitefell dk from @edencottageyarns ) Simple tv project last night, a knit & #crochet cushion cover, here's the crochet side
