Thank You

Just lately I’ve been reminded that  for every bad thing that happens, there is good if you can only bring yourself to look for it and every now and again it’s nice to say “thank you” and treasure the  that memories are precious gifts.

And so I find myself  counting my blessings once again …

First off, thank you to the lovely ladies I work with, who have welcomed me  and me feel part of the team.

And to the customers and workshop ladies who make it all worthwhile – especially when they reward you with gifts such as these:

(From a grateful crochet student).

To my family who put up with me and my grumbles and who have made sure that last year, which was so horrible in so many ways was bearable and that alongside the sadness and loss there were good times and many, many happy memories to treasure.

And to my friends, without whom there would be much less laughter in my life.

Finally, to all of you lovely readers. For your comments here, on facebook, twitter and Ravelry. Thank you for dropping by and more importantly for coming back.

Have a lovely Easter everyone.

Tracey x

  3. Dear Tracey, I do not know what your sadness was and is, but do you know it is amazing how knitting/crochet and sitting and working through it help us through our grief. It certainly has helped me so many times. Your comments always lift my day and I wish you so many blessings for this year. Happy Easter to you with much love.

  • First windfalls. We grew an apple tree from a pip when my daughter was just a tiny tot. It was one of the first things we planted when we moved into this house. A lot has happened in 20 years, this tree reminds me that gardening is about hope, optimism, unexpected gifts and finding beauty every day ... and patience - it was 15 years before this bore fruit!

Sometimes I'm in such a hurry to get my daily walk "out of the way" that I forget to just stop and look around me. Today I wandered down a different path and found a huge array of mushrooms, toadstools & fungi hiding in the leaf litter.
