Crochet Goes Risque

When the RHS Flower Show comes toTatton, there’s nothing for it but to join in the frivolity. At least that’s what Riana told me at work yesterday.  She has come up with a knitted dress covered in strategically placed flowers and shop model Clara will be spending Thursday at the show (accompanied by Nigel, who will be wearing a rather dapper linen suit I’m told). Look out for Clara and Nigel who will be handing out specially commissioned “Cool to crochet” business cards. Bring yours to the shop and you’ll be able to swap it for a free crochet Tatton Corsage featuring one of my own designs.

I’ll be in the shop all day with my crochet hook, making little flowers, so do pop by and say hello.

Oh – and if you see Clara give her a wave – in this hat I don’t think she’ll be hard to spot!

  • Of all my Mother in Law's knitted decorations this fairy is my favourite!
#knittersofinstagram #knitting #knitmas #handmadechristmas #makingchristmas More from Mother in Law's knitivity - Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus - this always reminds me of school nativity plays, where the girl playing the angel always manages to be centre stage!!!
#knitivity #knittednativity #knitmas #knittersofinstagram Happy knitmas! My Mother in Law has unpacked her knitted decorations, here are the three kings, part of the nativity scene which grows every year and now fills the window ledge!
#knittersofinstagram #knitmas #knitting #handmadechristmas #knittednativity Throwback to last December's family outing to Chester Zoo lanterns, a beautiful night. Ah, we knew how to Christmas in the 1960's. Missing my lovely Mum today - and love that we're both wearing outfits she made (crimplene, whatever happened to you???) The fabulous @wildzucchinis getting festive at Cockermouth Food Festival today xx
