Today’s Special Offer …

Took this photo today in Tesco, Helsby, sorry the quality is so bad, but couldn’t resist sharing.

“Excuse me, I think this is a mistake” I said to a staff member “No, that’s right buy 2 for £3.00 – Bargain” She smiled back at me.

Hmmm, needless to say I didn’t pop that “bargain” in my basket!

Ha Ha!! Js good at spotting things like that..he keeps telling everyone that the deal he got by buying the non-offer fruit pastilles multi-pack was better than those on offer! x

  2. Excellent!! I often find that the ‘special offer’ large pack costs more than two small ones at the regular price – especially for dishwasher tablets. I guess supermarkets think we are so anxious for a bargain we won’t check the prices!

I'm looking after my neighhour's garden & boy does he have a lot of radishes just now! I have written a blog post about more of my favourite (almost) free foods. Link in profile, now I'm off to pickle these radishes.

#gardens #castlepark #parksandgardens Thanks @simplycrochetmag for featuring my crochet picnic basket :) The pattern is available now in Simply Crochet celebrations edition. You'll need a cardboard box to upcycle & some chunky cotton yarn, I used DMC Natura XL & finished it off with leather buckles from Bag Clasps.
