Competition Time

I was recently invited to take part in a competition organised by HomecraftsAfter I took a look at their website, I agreed to take part and a lovely box of mixed yarn arrived on my doorstep this week.

I’ve already had my hook out and I’ll show you my finished projects shortly. Meantime, do go take a look at Homecrafts.  I’ve already spotted one or two things I’ll be using for future designs, including this. Meanwhile I’m off to finish a couple of rather lovely designs for Craftseller magazine….

Wish me luck in the Homecrafts competition – closing date is 7th August and I’ll post my finished designs before then.

Tracey x

  • Of all my Mother in Law's knitted decorations this fairy is my favourite!
#knittersofinstagram #knitting #knitmas #handmadechristmas #makingchristmas More from Mother in Law's knitivity - Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus - this always reminds me of school nativity plays, where the girl playing the angel always manages to be centre stage!!!
#knitivity #knittednativity #knitmas #knittersofinstagram Happy knitmas! My Mother in Law has unpacked her knitted decorations, here are the three kings, part of the nativity scene which grows every year and now fills the window ledge!
#knittersofinstagram #knitmas #knitting #handmadechristmas #knittednativity Throwback to last December's family outing to Chester Zoo lanterns, a beautiful night. Ah, we knew how to Christmas in the 1960's. Missing my lovely Mum today - and love that we're both wearing outfits she made (crimplene, whatever happened to you???) The fabulous @wildzucchinis getting festive at Cockermouth Food Festival today xx
