Countdown to Christmas: Giveaway

Thanks to the lovely people at ICHF events I have 2 tickets for the Crafts for Christmas Show in Birmingham to share with you.

This fabulous show runs from 8 – 11 November 2012 at the NEC Birmingham.  I love these shows, so much inspiration and a chance to see all the latest gadgets and tools essential for us crafty types! This year, you also get entry to the Festive Food and Drink Show, Hobbycrafts and Art Materials Live – you can see why this event is already on my calendar – how could I miss it!

If  you would like to be in with a chance to win 2 free tickets, just leave a comment on this post (everyone who leaves a comment will be entered). If you aren’t lucky enough to win tickets, you can book in advance for £9 via the website, where you’ll also find details of show exhibitors and loads of inspiration to kick start you Christmas preparations. Well worth the investment for a great day out.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Entries  will be closed on 21st September and the winner announced on the 22nd. Comments on facebook or twitter won’t be counted – but if you retweet this post or share it on your facebook page after you’ve left a comment  I’ll enter you twice!

  8. This would be my first craft show, Tracey – in a wheelchair, it may be daunting but also fantastic! I am sure you’ll be busy leading up to it but how nice to have a day out absorbed in your work world!

  • So proud of my crochet pupils on today's workshop at @ditzyrosemakes . Most had never picked up a hook before, but fuelled by copious mugs of tea, cake & mutual encouragement they can now officially call themselves crocheters! Thankyou all for coming & being such fun to work with xxx

New book nerves!!! Really looking forward to sharing this one' progress from plans to print over the next few months

About to cast on a baby cardigan, an excuse to use these beautiful buttons from @textilegarden. I like to use natural fibres and this wool & mohair blend from @thefibrecompany is a firm favourite, especially as it contains a proportion of British wool. We should celebrate our British wool industry & the farmers & shepgerds who give us beautiful, sustainable fibres to work with.

My review copy of @emmavarnam 's new book just arrived. Can't wait to sit down with a cuppa and enjoy this! Perfect inspiration for the ladies on my next granny squares workshop.
#grannysquares #grannysquares rock #grannycoolcrochet #grannysquarelove #amigurumi #crochetblanket Yesterday I made more elderberry jelly, but ran out of jars! Lucky my neighbour saves all hers & what was left is now in one of my @littlewrenpottery bowls. It feels like we're approaching peak autumn here, the starlings have stripped the rowan tree of its berries, the oak leaves are turning and the forest floor is strewn with sweet chesnuts. This really is my favourite season.
