October Published Patterns #1

These gorgeous scatter cushions include one of my all time favourite yarns. Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze always adds a touch of luxury. These patterns also feature Rowan Lima and Herirage Tweed. You can find the pattern for both cushions in issue 35 of Inside Crochet, in the shops now. Look out also for Emma Varnam’s Leighton Cardigan in the same issue. I am desperate to find time to make it!

  4. They are lovely ….. and I know that I have some Kidsilk Haze in my stash …… it was a scarf, but it stretched and stretched (even after re-blocking) and it cast fluff all over my good navy coat, so I eventually frogged it, and it is just waiting for the perfect project ……

  • Of all my Mother in Law's knitted decorations this fairy is my favourite!
#knittersofinstagram #knitting #knitmas #handmadechristmas #makingchristmas More from Mother in Law's knitivity - Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus - this always reminds me of school nativity plays, where the girl playing the angel always manages to be centre stage!!!
#knitivity #knittednativity #knitmas #knittersofinstagram Happy knitmas! My Mother in Law has unpacked her knitted decorations, here are the three kings, part of the nativity scene which grows every year and now fills the window ledge!
#knittersofinstagram #knitmas #knitting #handmadechristmas #knittednativity Throwback to last December's family outing to Chester Zoo lanterns, a beautiful night. Ah, we knew how to Christmas in the 1960's. Missing my lovely Mum today - and love that we're both wearing outfits she made (crimplene, whatever happened to you???) The fabulous @wildzucchinis getting festive at Cockermouth Food Festival today xx
