Come Fly With Me….

LGC56-c cliqq photographyThe very lovely staff at Let’s Get Crafting HQ have kindly allowed me to share a couple of pictures from their recent photo shoot for issue 56, which features a couple of my designs.

I love designing nursery gifts and these are just perfect. If you’re looking for a quick crochet project to brighten up a child’s room I think these mobiles are just the thing.

I was thrilled when Let’s Get Crafting invited me to submit some designs a couple of months ago, since then I’ve been busy working on some rather gorgeous knit and crochet projects for future issues, including one I was desperate to keep (you’ll have to wait and see what it is, you’ll love “it” as much as I do).

LGC56-c cliqq phototgraphy 2013Issue 56 goes on sale on 8th November and is full of the most adorable makes, including a crochet penguin (by Lynne) and Amanda Berry’s cute little birdie which you can see heading off on an adventure here.

Look out for it in the shops. With free hook, yarn and needles you’ll have no excuse not to get making straight away!

  • Of all my Mother in Law's knitted decorations this fairy is my favourite!
#knittersofinstagram #knitting #knitmas #handmadechristmas #makingchristmas More from Mother in Law's knitivity - Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus - this always reminds me of school nativity plays, where the girl playing the angel always manages to be centre stage!!!
#knitivity #knittednativity #knitmas #knittersofinstagram Happy knitmas! My Mother in Law has unpacked her knitted decorations, here are the three kings, part of the nativity scene which grows every year and now fills the window ledge!
#knittersofinstagram #knitmas #knitting #handmadechristmas #knittednativity Throwback to last December's family outing to Chester Zoo lanterns, a beautiful night. Ah, we knew how to Christmas in the 1960's. Missing my lovely Mum today - and love that we're both wearing outfits she made (crimplene, whatever happened to you???) The fabulous @wildzucchinis getting festive at Cockermouth Food Festival today xx
