Meet Felix (a new knitting pattern)

fox r/dps/l_Layout 1I’ve been waiting a long time to introduce this little fella to you all. Felix the Fox is available now in a new bookazine from Aceville publications called “Felix and Friends”. Inside you’ll find patterns for a cute cat and a little bird alongside some small makes and full instructions to make your very own Felix.

Everything you need is supplied with the magazine, yarn, needles, felt, even a pair  safety eyes and decorative ribbon. So all you need to do is add toy stuffing and you’re all set. This would make a great gift for someone, especially if they’re new to knitting and haven’t built up much of a yarn stash. There is just enough of each colour supplied to make the fox as instructed (or the cat, or the bird for that matter).

Look out for him in the shops right now and if you make him, I’ll be adding a Ravelry listing for him soon so you can share your makes.

In other news, I’ve been busy setting up a new blog (a “country diary”, which you can read here. I’ll still be posting news about my designs and workshops on Baking and Making, but decided it was time for a new space to record my life, here in the Cheshire countryside. I t would be lovely if you could drop by and say hello, or share the link with your friends.)

Happy knitting x

  • Of all my Mother in Law's knitted decorations this fairy is my favourite!
#knittersofinstagram #knitting #knitmas #handmadechristmas #makingchristmas More from Mother in Law's knitivity - Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus - this always reminds me of school nativity plays, where the girl playing the angel always manages to be centre stage!!!
#knitivity #knittednativity #knitmas #knittersofinstagram Happy knitmas! My Mother in Law has unpacked her knitted decorations, here are the three kings, part of the nativity scene which grows every year and now fills the window ledge!
#knittersofinstagram #knitmas #knitting #handmadechristmas #knittednativity Throwback to last December's family outing to Chester Zoo lanterns, a beautiful night. Ah, we knew how to Christmas in the 1960's. Missing my lovely Mum today - and love that we're both wearing outfits she made (crimplene, whatever happened to you???) The fabulous @wildzucchinis getting festive at Cockermouth Food Festival today xx
